Engine, Accessory & Cylinder Policies

Accessory & Cylinder Core Return Policy

Accessory & Cylinder must be returned within 30 days of the date of the invoice to be eligible to receive full credit. Cores received after 30 days and up to 60 days of the date of the invoice will be discounted 25% of the core value. Cores received after 60 days and up to 90 days of the date of the invoice will be discounted 50% of the core value. If the Accessory & Cylinder core is received after the 90 days, it will be at the discretion of the management whether to accept or not. These policies are in effect, as Airmark has to purchase cores to replenish their stock if not returned by the customer in a timely manner. Airmark reserves the right to refuse to accept exchanged core returns that exceed the core return window. The Accessory & Cylinder core must be active, assembled, complete and in operable condition.   Accessory & Cylinder cores must be returned with a valid data plate.  Accessory & Cylinder cores that have experienced a minor or major failure, returned with missing parts, will be determined by Airmark the eligibility for core credit and shall be subject to a reduced core credit. Exchange core Accessory & Cylinder returns must be the same model configuration as the Accessory & Cylinder model ordered unless prior approval is obtained from Airmark.  Airmark will make every attempt possible to retain and return every non-overhaul related part left on the customers Accessory & Cylinder core return but Airmark will not be held responsible for non-overhaul related parts not recovered for return.

Accessory & Cylinder Merchandise Return Policy

Airmark will accept the return of an Accessory & Cylinder with the following conditions:

  • The Accessory & Cylinder must have been originally purchased through Airmark
  • The Accessory & Cylinder must be returned with a copy of the original invoice
  • The Accessory & Cylinder must be returned in the original box and packing
  • The Accessory & Cylinder must be returned in the original condition
  • The Accessory & Cylinder must not have been installed
  • The Accessory & Cylinder must be returned within 30 days from the date of the original invoice
  • The Accessory & Cylinder must be sent freight pre-paid
  • The Accessory & Cylinder returned will be subject to a 20% re-stocking fee

 

 Accessory & Cylinder Payment Policy

Once an Accessory & Cylinder is invoiced, payment is due. Airmark reserves the right to take possession of any unpaid items left at our Repair Station for over 60 days in exchange for services rendered.

Limited Accessory & Cylinder Warranty Policy

Airmark Overhaul, Inc. warrants that an Overhauled Accessory & Cylinder and Overhauled Distributed Accessory & Cylinder to be free of defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for 180 days or 240 hours, whichever occurs first, from the date of sale. Airmark Overhaul, Inc. warrants that a Repaired Accessory & Cylinder and Repaired Distributed Accessory & Cylinder to be free of defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for 30 days from the date of sale. Third party supplied Accessory & Cylinder must be submitted directly to the third party overhaul facility. The Accessory & Cylinder must be returned for warranty within 30 days from the date of the failure and must be returned in as removed condition. The warranty Accessory & Cylinder must be returned with Airmark’s Warranty Return Form. The Accessory & Cylinder must have been installed and operated in accordance with the original manufactures recommended procedures. Upon installation of the Accessory & Cylinder, the installing agency assumes all liabilities for the proper installation and operation of the Accessory & Cylinder. The Accessory & Cylinder must not have been disassembled, repaired or altered in any way without Airmark’s prior written authorization. The duration of this Limited Accessory & Cylinder Warranty shall not be extended beyond the original warranty period for reason of repair or replacement of the Accessory & Cylinder. The customer is responsible for the return of the warranty item.  The repair or replacement of the Accessory & Cylinder is at the sole discretion of Airmark Overhaul, Inc. In no event, whether as a result of a breach of contract, warranty, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, shall Airmark Overhaul, Inc. be liable for any special consequential, incidental or penal damages or expenses, including but not limited to loss of profit, goodwill, or revenues, loss of use of the product or any associated equipment, damage to associated equipment, cost of capital, cost of trouble-shooting, cost of third parties for such damages or expenses. The foregoing Limited Accessory & Cylinder Warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties or remedies whether written, oral, implied, or statutory. Any and all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, course of dealing or usage of trade are hereby expressly disclaimed and excluded.

Engine Core Return Policy

Engine Cores must be returned within 90 days of the date of the invoice to be eligible to receive full credit. Cores received after 90 days and up to 120 days of the date of the invoice will be discounted 25% of the core value. Cores received after 120 days and up to 180 days of the date of the invoice will be discounted 50% of the core value. If the engine core is received after the 180 days, it will be at the discretion of the management whether to accept or not. These policies are in effect, as Airmark has to purchase cores to replenish their stock if not returned by the customer in a timely manner. Airmark reserves the right to refuse to accept exchanged core returns that exceed the core return window.

The engine core must be active, assembled, complete and in operable condition. Engine cores must be returned with a valid data plate and must include the logbook with a total time removal entry. Engine cores that have experienced a minor or major failure, returned with missing parts, will be determined by Airmark the eligibility for core credit and shall be subject to a reduced core credit. Exchange core engine returns must be the same model configuration as the engine model ordered unless prior approval is obtained from Airmark. Airmark will make every attempt possible to retain and return every non-engine part left on the customers engine core return such as fittings, hoses, etc., but Airmark will not be held responsible for non-engine parts not recovered for return.

Engine Merchandise Return Policy

Engine deposits are non-refundable unless the customer cancels an exchange engine overhaul order or customer property repair/overhaul, within 3 business days after receipt of the deposit funds as these funds have been utilized to special order parts to repair or overhaul the engine. Any engine completed for a sale or order will not be accepted for return and payment will be due in full.

Engine Payment Policy

Once an engine is invoiced, payment is due. Airmark reserves the right to take possession of any unpaid items left at our Repair Station for over 60 days in exchange for services rendered. All engines will be paid by check, bank certified funds or wire transfer. All funds must be cleared before engine is shipped.

Acceptable forms of payment are:
Wire transfer: Immediate release of engine upon receipt of wire transfer.
Bank certified check: 3 full business days required to clear.
In State Check: 3 full business days required to clear.
Out of State Check: 10 full business days required to clear.

Engine Limited Warranty

Airmark Overhaul, Inc. warrants their overhauled engines to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for period of 1 year from the date of overhaul or 480 hours, whichever occurs first. Accessories are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for 180 days or 240 hours, whichever occurs first, from the date of the engine overhaul. (Repaired Only engines are warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship for only the work accomplished under normal use and service for 30 days from the date of sale.)

The engine, excluding accessories, is further warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship by Airmark Overhaul, Inc. until the Manufacturers recommended overhaul period or two years from the date of overhaul, whichever occurs first, under a pro-rated basis on parts. Labor portion is pro-rated if work is performed by Airmark Overhaul, Inc. For the purpose of calculating pro-ration, a minimum of 40 hours per month from the date of overhaul will apply. Notwithstanding anything herein to the contrary, cracked cylinders and crankcases are excluded from all warranties unless it can be determined that the damage is a direct and proximate result of improper assembly by Airmark Overhaul, Inc.

Replacement or repair of Engine, Component, or Parts under this Limited Warranty will not extend the warranty period. Any repairs made by person(s) other than Airmark Overhaul, Inc. without the prior written consent of Airmark Overhaul, Inc., at the option of Airmark Overhaul, Inc., voids any remaining part of this Limited Warranty, where, in the judgement of Airmark Overhaul, Inc. such repairs adversely affected the Engine. In no event, whether as a result of a breach of contract, warranty, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, shall Airmark Overhaul, Inc. be liable for any special, consequential, incidental or penal damages or expenses, including but not limited to loss of profit, goodwill, or revenues, loss of use of the product or any associated equipment, damage to associated equipment, cost of capital, cost of third parties for such damages or expenses.

The engine must be returned for warranty within 30 days from the date of the failure and must be returned in as removed condition. The warranty engine must be returned with Airmark’s Warranty Return Form.

This foregoing Limited Warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties or remedies whether written, oral, implied, or statutory. Any and all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, course of dealing or usage of trade are hereby expressly disclaimed and excluded.

FREIGHT INSURANCE POLICY

The customer is solely responsible for the package / product once it has left Airmark’s door. The completed product is only insured to the minimum amount that the respective freight forwarder supplies. Airmark is not responsible for any damage or loss to the customer’s package / product once it has left Airmark’s door and is in the procession of the freight company. Typical example coverage supplied by freight companies is $100.00 for small package, (under 75 pounds) and $5.00 per pound for heavyweight freight. Any further insurance coverage will need to be requested in writing from the customer to be applied to their package /product before it leaves Airmark’s door.
