Cylinder Division
Our cylinder shop offers our
customers repair and overhaul capabilities for their cylinder
needs. Our state-of-the-art honing and boring machine
precision grinds the barrel to exacting standards and trueness
while automatically holding the required tapered choke for the
cylinder. Seats are precision ground and valves are lapped
into place. Pneumatic and liquid testing is accomplished for
assurance of optimum seating. Special attention is given to
proper spring tensions and heights to maximize the performance of
the cylinder. Airmark offers an Enhanced Service for
volumetric balancing and flow testing of the cylinders. This
process matches the volume of the combustion chambers, intake and
exhaust ports and flow characteristics for each cylinder.
The results are increased horsepower and volumetric efficiency.
